USC professor, Benjamin C. Schaffer is coming the Rev War Visitor Center to talk about his latest book, “The First Fleets: Colonial Navies of the British Atlantic World, 1630-1775”

Rick Wise, interim director of the SC Battleground Preservation Trust, will discuss what he and several other military historians have learned while preparing the long awaited Francis Marion Papers. (Now available for FREE online through the SC 250.)
Adults wishing to experience our educational programs that are normally offered to school aged scholars, will have an opportunity to take an evening field trip to the Revolutionary War Visitor Center. You will complete an exhibit packet that focuses in on the lesson, enjoy learning history through an interactive experience.
